Start With What You Carry
Bigger is not automatically better. Adam first checks tonnage, body type, length, cargo weight, route, budget and future business needs.
Mostly city use
A 14 ft / 1-ton configuration is a common choice when daily manoeuvrability matters and cargo volume is modest.
City and longer routes
A 17 ft / 3-ton configuration is one of Adam's most common recommendations because its size works well for both shorter and longer trips.
3.0 L or 5.2 L?
If loads are usually no more than 3 tons, the 3.0 L may already be sufficient. For regularly heavier loads, consider the 5.2 L.
Price difference
The practical reference shared by Adam is an approximately RM10,000 chassis-price difference between commonly discussed 3.0 L and 5.2 L choices. Compare the exact models above.
Why the Final Price Changes
A body is configured around the actual job. For an aluminium box, Adam may need to know the body length, number and position of doors, flooring needs and any special items.
Light cargo such as bread, mail or light general goods may not need extra steel flooring. The right answer depends on the cargo, not a one-size-fits-all package.
